Started the morning with coffee with my girl, zoning out and thinking about painting. For me, that kind of morning isn’t just routine—it’s like flipping the switch on creative energy. Once the coffee’s done, the day feels official, and the urge to head out and paint kicks in hard.
Told my girl I’d be out painting—she was cool with it, just reminded me to hang the laundry first. With time on my side, I figured I’d go for a piece, something different. Been picturing letters blending with street scenery, and today felt right to give it a go.
As usual, no sketch. Just hopped on the scooter, let the ride guide me, trusting instinct to find the right spot. Ended up at an old hidden spot with shade from the trees. The wall I had in mind didn’t feel right, so I switched plans—hit a pillar instead. Tried pushing a diagonal upward letter flow, laying it down step by step, letting the style move naturally.
This makes it my third day in a row painting. Body’s a bit tired, but the vibe is solid—feeling mad fulfilled.
