Lil’ Stinka: Dragon Dreamland

Some worlds aren’t found on a map. They exist only in our imagination.

Dragon Dreamland is the beginning of a new chapter in my artistic practice. Through my original character, Lil’ Stinka, I wanted to create a world where dragons, street culture, and childhood imagination can exist naturally together.

Lil’ Stinka gently holds a tiny skateboard figure. To me, it represents the fearless child that never truly leaves us—the part of ourselves that continues to explore, dream, and create regardless of age.

Above her grows a hidden village inhabited by dragons. Rather than symbols of power or mythology, these dragons are quiet guardians of imagination. Every rooftop, every cloud, and every creature invites the viewer to slow down and discover their own story.

This artwork is painted entirely by hand with oil on Taiwanese cypress wood. Instead of treating the wood as a surface, I embrace its natural grain as part of the composition. Each panel has its own character, making every original artwork completely unique.

Dragon Dreamland is the first step into the expanding Lil’ Stinka Universe—an ongoing body of work exploring fantasy, street culture, folklore, and the freedom of imagination.
